The Picture

So I absolutely LOVE the picture at the top of the blog. About a year ago we got the huge honor to have our pictures taken by http://www.ashleyannphotography.com/blog It was the most exciting day because Ashley is the MOST amazing photographer, and since I took a photography class from her, it was great to see her in action. We went along the shoot, and the girls were being themselves....full of personality, cute as can be, and definitely having a mind of their own and letting themselves be known! So Ashley sat them on a log with their flowers. Of course we couldn't get them to just look at us and smile. They were all trying to do their own thing....the bugs were eating M and she was annoyed with her sisters. Then, they all fell off the log. H came up to us and said, "A pushed me off the log." We of course say, "No she didn't...you just all fell off...don't worry about it!" So we go on and finish the shoot. Well...we get the picture back and...PRICELESS...not only does this picture capture their personalities, it TOTALLY shows that A didn't just push H off the log, she TOOK PURE DELIGHT in pushing her sister off the log! I mean come on, look at the girl's face...she is enjoying every moment of pushing her off. Thank you Ashley for capturing our girls...not just posing and smiling and looking at the camera (which we did get some of those), but capturing my girls true personalities!
